i have neglected this blog for awhile, but i blame that on corporate finance.

however as i sit here drinking fucking meal replacements i thought instead of having pictures i would just have a video.

that will never happen for two reasons:

1) nobody has the fucking time to make a video every single fucking day. and if you do have the time you probably should be doing something productive with your time because you obviously have nothing going. unless you make videos of your face talking about your kids from your 16th floor office, and in that case your a douche.

2) its impossible to make a video about how much you hate fucking pants that dont taper at the bottom of the legs. well im sure you could but nobody wants to take the fucking time to make a video about such a thing. its much easier just to talk about it and show pictures from google images.

so it looks like im going to have to make a vimeo account and learn how to embedd those things.

In light of my previous post i decided to provide some evidence

Okay, so I guess it is time for some pre-story.
I love Janes frozen chicken fingers.
Well used to love...
They changed them, half a year ago they came out with a new and improved texture. Which basically means you can not cook them properly because the outside burns super fast and the inside is still jelly like, and then the outer breading just comes off, and it tastes disgusting.
Well I was fed up with it and I sent them an email

Dear Janes,

I honestly cannot believe the absolute travesty that has taken place. The introduction of the new crunchy texture to your chicken fingers has completely ruined them. I have been getting Janes chicken fingers for years and when I first picked up a box with the new crunchy texture packaging on them I was skeptical to say the least. And when I first tried them I was completely disgusted. Now, granted they are still better than most chicken fingers out there, but that does not take away from the fact you have significantly decreased the enjoyability of your product. They do not cook as nice, they do not taste as good and they have gone from the premium of frozen chicken fingers to just another average frozen product. I am not sure what research was conducted that gave Janes the idea to change the "texture" of your chicken fingers but you have ruined them. I have been eating these "new and improved" chicken fingers for awhile, and everytime I do it makes me sick that yet another product has tried to improve itself, and in the process has turned its back on what made it so great. All I ask is you seriously reconsider the choice you have made to change these chicken fingers. I have a hard time believing that anybody really thinks this change is an improvement, it is a small change that may go unnoticed to those who do not really care about your product, those with no brand loyalty of any kind. But I, Layne Rieger, have been buying Janes chicken fingers for years and it pains me that yet another good food product has been ruined for the sake of improving it. I feel as though you have only changed it for the sake of changing it. However, I am writing to voice my opinion and hopefully make it aware that by making your chicken fingers new and improved, you have made them a shred of what they used to be.

For the sake of what your frozen chicken fingers once were, please change them back.

Okay so Sarah made three points as to why this happened

#1 Parents should not buy their kids phones that have cameras

Okay, this has nothing to do with why this happened. The camera on their phone was not telling them to get naked and take photos. If they didn't have a phone perhaps they would have got a little creative and used an actual camera. The photos might have been clearer and you could have seen the third nipple that Amanda has.
If these cheerleaders got naked, took photos and then sent them via snail mail I am sure Sarah would want parents to stop buying their kids cameras..... and envelopes.

#2 Performance

Okay, Sarah says that these girls were living in a culture of wanting to be stars. And she says "in our pop culture, what do celebrities do? they take off their tops".
What celebrities are taking off their tops to be a "star"?
Okay, so I suppose a few celebrities in the past have been photographed naked, but you don't see celebrities lining up to have their breasts exposed via cell phone cameras. Right now I am thinking of all the celebrities breasts I would love to see but have not. According to Sarah I should be able to find pictures of Missy Elliot topless.
But where are they?
As well, I highly doubt the reason these cheerleaders took off their clothes and sent nude pictures to their boyfriends was because they wanted to be stars. If they wanted to be stars they would have done it in front of, oh lets see, a stadium full of football fans!
And besides, if going topless makes you a star how come I dont know these girls names?

#3 Boys watch porn

I am glad Sarah works at a university, giving her the necessary funding to find these things out. Of course she says, that girls feel the need to compete with these porn videos. Sarah talks to girls all over the country and they all tell her that they feel the need to send nude photos of themselves because their boyfriends watch porn.
Bullshit. I cannot help but feel that the only reasons these girls said that was they were forced to listen to this woman speak for more than five minutes and by telling her what she wanted to hear they could get rid of her.
Okay, all boys watch porn. And if you do not I am sure there are numerous studies that show there is something seriously wrong with you.
And what does Sarah want to do?
She wants all men to feel guilty about watching it! She is saying that we, us men, have stooped so low to watch porn and made these poor girls send nude photos of themselves to us via a camera phone (which in fact is the parents fault cause they bought it for them according to Sarah).

I have something to tell you. Not only did these girls send nude photos of themselves to their boyfriends, but they also sucked their dicks.
Okay, to be fair they probably have done a lot more to them than just sucked their dicks.
And by comparison, sending nude photos via a camera phone is a lot less shocking for a parent than finding out that Amanda wasen't up in her room studying. She was sucking Dans dick!
Dan has probably seen Amanda naked 1000 times, so what does it matter if he sees a slighty blurry cellphone image of her boobs. Later on he will strip her down and have unprotected sex with her either way.

"This email is to question the dissappearance of all Bottle Green products in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I first came to the horrible realization walking home from my last final in grade 12, and then realizing it was no longer available at Shoppers Drug Mart, I then spent the next couple of months checking every single store in Regina that possibly might have it but I had no luck doing that. I then spent my time patiently awaiting the return of Bottle Green products to Regina, Saskatchewan, but that day never came. I have sent Bottle Green emails before professing my love for your wonderful elderflower drink, and I miss it more than ever now. Coming up on summer, it pains me that I can no longer go buy a Bottle Green elderflower before I go road biking. I have been forced to drink perrier, and that stuff is obviously not very good at all, and it is cleary no substitute for an elderflower. All throughout highschool elderflower was my drink of choice, and I stood behind Bottle Green and elderflower and always saw it as the superior to all those other "soft drinks" and fruit juices. And now sadly, having completed 1 year of university and entering my second year in the fall, the only memories of elderflower I have is the Bottle Green bottle collection above my bookcase. Other people in this world may see my complete passion and loyalty to Bottle Green elderflower as a bit strange, but I can get too excited about things and elderflower was one of those things that I was so passionate about, and was absolutely positive there was no better drink in the world. I am still positive there is no better drink in the world, but sadly I can no longer enjoy that wonderful Bottle Green product, and biking to the store for 2 or 3 bottles of it is now simply a thing of the past. But to get to the point, my question is is the production of Bottle Green products still going on, is production of the elderflower drink still going on, and why does Regina, Saskatchewan no longer receive any Bottle Green products. My only hope is that if I cannot enjoy elderflower in Regina, I hope the production of that wonderful, perfect drink is still going on, and other people are able to enjoy the taste of it even if I cannot. I have been supporting Bottle Green for years, and I am writing to tell you I will continue to support Bottle Green in the future, even if I am not able to purchase any of your products where I live. There will always be a spot for Bottle Green elderflower in my heart, and for the company Bottle Green itself, and I will never forget about the drink that once filled me with such joy, and such incredible taste and refreshment. The Driver: M.

Born and raised in the heartland of The United States of America, M. is no stranger to true american muscle, but it not what you may think. Thoughts of big blocks, leaded fuel and smokey burn outs were only a dream for this young man. The american muscle he had to deal with was a pack of 15 year olds who spent too much time in the gym and not enough time in the classroom. As he entered highschool, he wasen't exactly the epitomy of cool, and being 100 pounds soaking wet and wearing boots, he was an instant target for his big muscled, small brained classmates. As grade 9 went on the torment and harrassment increased, not being able to go home without bruises covering his entire body began to tear at this young mans sanity. He soon began to believe he had no where to turn, no place to hide, and nowhere to run, until everything changed that one fateful day. Soon grade 9 turned into grade 10, and while most 16 year old boys were getting drunk, going to parties and driving around in rusted 69 camaros, M. got beat up, harrassed and was increasingly becoming more and more angry with his life. Now, back to that fateful day that changed everything. It was tuesday, March 13th, and having gotten his drivers liscence 2 weeks prior he was feeling better about his life. It was 12:43, and M. was sitting on a bench outside of school eating his lunch that he had packed because his parents had left to mexico for the week. I think it is important now to mention M.'s parents were rich, not pretty rich, but rich. They spent most of their time travelling the world and M. was left home to defend for himself, which he preferred, his dad was some sort of banker, and his mother was nothing more then a gold digger, not that M. cared. Now back to 12:43, it was a summers day and M. was watching the cars go by:

As he began packing up his things, he noticed a slight roar coming from down the street near the Eat and Go where he could usually be found on weekends.

From the side of his eye he caught a shiny black piece of metal, the noise of this foriegn object began to increase and it sent short, spastic bursts of chills up M.'s spine. As it rounded the corner, it shot out its rear end with the precision only a skilled motorist could achieve. It let out one loud "BANG" as fire shot from its exhaust and began rapidly picking up speed.
It was 12:47
I know you wont believe this, it is not something to be believed, M was not a car guy, he knew nothing about cars, but as the foriegn black rocket passed by M with such a roar it shook the ground beneath him, he knew exactly what it was.
It was 12:48
M knew what it was, it was a jet black 1986 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera, he knew the top speed was 150mph and he knew it took only 6.1 seconds to go from 0-60. I can't tell you how he knew this, it doesn't matter if he picked it up from tv, from a magazine or from his father, all that matters is that he knew what it was and that what he was about to see would change his life forever.
It was 12:49
The porsche began to decelerate, sending another "Bang" through M's head as it downshifted into second to make the oncoming corner. If this was the end of M's experience, it wouldn't have changed his life, he may have walked into school with a dazed look, but that would have been all. But just as the porsche 911 began to turn, M noticed the "For Sale" sign on the rear window of the beautifully crafted machine.
I could bore you with the events that followed in the next 2 years, but the only thing that is important is he used his fathers money to buy the porsche, he spent everyday driving the shit out of it, and there wasen't a muscle filled moron who spent too much time in the gym and not even time in the classroom who could beat him.
It was 3:00 in the morning
M was 30 and J. Swangle was on the phone telling M, "GET YOUR ASS HERE NOW!!" in a thick swedish accent, and forgetting the time differences between the countries. M had befriended J. Swangle, a swedish man, and P. McCeary a scottish brute, and was about to partake in one of the most important times he would ever spend in a car.

Co-Pilot #1: J. Swangle

I wont bore you with J. Swangle's life story, because it is boring. He grew up in a small house in Stockholm, Sweden and never even drove a car until he came to Canada when he was 18 and set foot inside a Lancia Gamma Coupe which was illegally brought into the country by his older brother. He wasen't much of a driver, but his attention to detail, and incredible focus made him the best of co-pilots. He was sought after by many drivers in such illegal road rallies as the gumball 3000, and the bullrun, but was unfulfilled with the lack of passion and the egos of the drivers. He met M while working at a pizza joint in America, and they instantly became friends. He moved to Canada after being offered a job for a publishing company, and has lived there ever since. It has been 12 years since him and M first met, and J was the one who found out about the rally that would change the both of their lives forever.

Co-Pilot #2: P. McCeary

A scottish brute?
A scottish playboy?
yes and yes. P. McCeary, better known as peanut, grew up in a household filled with millionaires. He lived in Scotland for less than a year, but still claims to have been rasied there. He moved to America at 4 months old and drove more Ferraris, Lamborghinis and vintage Porsche's by the time he was 14 than most rich folks do their entire lives. He is a bit of an eccentric man in his thirties and still refuses to get a job and lives off his parents trustfunds. M became friends with him after they met outside the university at 19 years old after watching P sit on the hood of a 1984 Ferrari Testarossa(which wasen't his) and tried hitting on the owner of the car(not knowing that she was the owner the time). J Swangle isn't exactly a fan of P, but knows that he is the only one who will be able to get them out of a hairy situation, and the only one who is capable of funding with the money they need. He may be a scottish brute, he may be a scottish playboy, but his intelligence is above normal, and even though he almost refuses to use it, J and M know he will if it means staying out of jail.

So what have these 3 men in their thirties came together for?
Well I cant exactly tell you.
What I can tell you is that it is an illegal road rally
It is one of the worst ideas these 3 have ever had

Much to my surprise Mitch agreed to let me write on his unpainted and red bumper with a permanent marker.
After much debate, i decided i would draw the dakar logo.
and even though it came out a little compressed i was quite happy with it

For those of you who dont know the dakar rally is a rally across deserts and such and is a grueling endurance race.
